Pediatric Health Outcomes Initiative

The Pediatric Health Outcomes Initiative (PHOI) is a prospective registry that will collect data from volunteers in pediatric practices on potential factors in acute and chronic diseases including breastfeeding, birth delivery route, vaccination status, and medications. The goal of PHOI is to provide a data registry that can be used by researchers in future studies to identify potential interventions to improve overall pediatric outcomes.

We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization supported only by the generous contributions of our members and donors.

Most research is funded by federal grants, corporate funding mechanisms, or foundations.  This is the first prospective registry to collect multiple environmental factors that may influence the health of the newborn, and continue to monitor their health as they get older.

Given the nature and scope of this registry, the PHOI is an organization established to provide a mechanism for the public to provide support for this study.
